This is specific to those blogging on climate change (or “climate breakdown” as George Monbiot calls it in the wake of the Copenhagen Climate Congress). However, I think these real world tips on blogging from RealClimate might be useful for lots of people new to blogging. This blog, along with (UNSW Scientist Tim Lambert’s) Deltoid, has certainly been in the thick of some heavy duty “discussions” over the past few years, so they know what they’re talking about. Note the willingness to make corrections when these are required.

Personally, I think science blogging is one of the most interesting examples of the genre.
